its not that it is better, it is just different

i like secrets. i like knowing they dont know everything about me. there are still interesting tidbits to show up in conversation. there is still the memory of when i was younger i can share on a night of reliving the past.

but the best part of her/him/them not knowing who i am is not knowing him. or us. when i bring up a boston trip i can use the word i instead of we. it feels so damn good. i can act like we didnt exist.
