2002-12-15 - 10:00 a.m.

it has been an exhausting day and night and now morning. eric and i ventured to the big apple. i never understood the term...but we went to rockafellar and times square, you know the normal touristy places. we also tried to find CBGB. eric was adament to find it, but after twenty minutes of walking, the cold acid rain drops on my nose and the unyielding protests of my tummy, it was time to give up and go find some grub.

being the huge dork eric is, he still watched wrestling, so he wanted to eat at the World, WWE's resturant in times square. $9.95 for a cheeseburger i could have gotten for $4.95- but hey it was worth it to see him get all dumb-excited about the wrestlers on the huge tv screens.

rockafellar was so pretty beside the enormous amounts of people who hover around the christmas tree, it was nice. when we were just standing there looking at the tree for a few brief seconds, it was like no one else was around, we were the only ones there. then the facade was broken by a kid with a polaroid camera saying he would take our picture for $5. being the cheesy tourists we are, we paid the inflated price for a picture of just us, there wasnt really the christmas tree in it. you could see the trunk...ehehe. oh well.

we have decided we are going to do this every christmas. we had so much fun. and i think i am going to try to think differently about the aforementioned holiday. if i dont like christmas, what is there to like? mom would have wanted me to enjoy christmas with the ones i love, as much as we enjoyed it together.

we also bought Lite Brite- and if you had it when you were a kid, then you know how much it kicks ass. but now they have these things called power pegs, were there are like three or four stuck together to make it easier for the kids. screw that we didnt have power pegs, and look how we turned out.

well i am going to go back to bed now. it is still early.
