2002-12-09 - 9:31 a.m.

after a day like yesterday..i am not sure another day can be quite as fun. the resturant was superb and there wasnt a wait-which always makes impatient jen happy.

constitution plaza was so nice. it is actually this whole terrace like thing, three stories up from the streets. it connects all the buildings in Hartford...and it was all decorated with pretty lights. and they had a big christmas tree. eric and i found our way under the tree and kissed, it wouldve been one of those really romantic things if my nose wasnt so runny and he hadnt tripped over a few branches. but none the less it was special in our own way :)

Saves the Day was really good. Ash and another band played before them. i have found a liking to the lead singer/guitarist from ash...he is prrreeetttyyyy. hehe I was thrilled when STD played my song and a few other of my list of faves.they also played a cover of a pixies song- and if i was like eric i would know all about them but i dont, so i will say it was awesome- much like he said after the show. so all in all the music was good. but the girls there- they were so pushy. i only thought it would be like that at a dashboard show but alas it is at std too.eric, the music elitist has been to see them four times and never were the girlies like this- he thinks it might have something to do with the fact std were on the radio and what not. or simply because we are in ct. and we suck here. and i think it is just me bc it doesnt bother eric too much but all the kids there- younger and younger with each show i go too. i swear they were like 10. but all in all i would give em a 9 or so- i wanted to hear three miles down but i dont think it wouldve fit in the set list. oh well.

well i am off to make lots of money so one day i dont have to live where rude girls elbow me while at a show.
