reluctantly, i went to this tiny italian resturant twenty-five minutes away last night. a place where the dress code includes ties and jackets. i, being the lazy bitch i am, wore a hat and jeans. we sat at the bar. so it wasnt like anyone would notice. the owner came over to us, chatted mildly and yelled to the head chef. recognizing my so-called-date, the chef came out with a huge platter of food including steak, shrimp, and all this other impressive crap. but it was yummy. i had a sprite.

the lighting was great and the staff was wonderful. the italians eating there were extremely loud.

the chef came out again and patted me on the back and said 'next time bring your boyfriend' and i said 'my father is better company'. awww dad. he compromised a date he was supposed to have with his girlfriend to take me out and have a good time. and i did. later that night he and his girlfriend broke up.

it looks like we will be going out more often. :)
