the whole time i was in naples i tried take mental pictures of different inspiring things to write about. like how warm the sun felt when it touched my eyelids. or how the sunset transformed the clear water to a liquid silver. the bartender that kept coming back for more. and even the sky piercing lightning bolts over the ocean.

but here it is thirty five degrees colder, and raining back home. it was waking up for a 9-5. and here eating stale donuts and wearing pressed pants, is where i can not write of the things i remember from our excursion, because i have to finish that memo and fax a contract.
